Foreign trade companies and buyers gathered at the 2025 Premium Exports Shopping Season of Shandong Province on May 15 in Jinan, capital of East China's Shandong province, alongside the launch of the Premium Exports Homebound Shandong Chapter.

The event, which is being held simultaneously across all 16 cities in the province, aims to help foreign trade companies expand their domestic market presence, reflecting the province's commitment to supporting its foreign trade sector.

The event focuses on a wide range of products, including textiles, daily consumer goods, food, agricultural products, building materials, home appliances, handicrafts, and machinery. Over 1,000 foreign trade companies and nearly 5,000 buyers are expected to participate in five themed exhibitions. The first exhibition, held from May 15 to 19 at the Shandong International Convention and Exhibition Center, is highlighting textile and apparel, daily consumer goods, and toys.

At the event, many buyers expressed their belief that toys are set to experience a boom in popularity, not just among children, but also adults. In the Shandong Kadele Intelligent Technology booth, lifelike assembly toys featuring pandas, soccer balls, and Chinese ancient architecture, known as "Chinese Lego", proved popular among domestic buyers.

Nearly 400 Shandong companies are using exhibitions to promote their products both domestically and internationally. Consumers are also enjoying the "show-and-sell" format, in which products such as hanfu are showcased next to a sales area, blending traditional culture and modern business.
