Linyi Trade City is the largest market cluster and is a crucial logistics hub and a wholesale trading center in China. Located in Linyi city in East China's Shandong province, it is creating new consumption scenarios to become a hub of international trade, digital development, industrialization, and cultural tourism.

In 2024, Linyi Trade City achieved a staggering market transaction volume of more than 6.6 billion yuan ($90 billion), with a total logistics turnover of over 1 trillion yuan.

A new wave of going global is sweeping through Linyi's enterprises, with the consensus that it is "essential for survival". The city has established 43 overseas commercial centers and warehouses, facilitating more than 2,000 enterprises to go abroad in 2024, attracting 31,000 foreign buyers into the Linyi Trade City.

Linyi has four international road transport enterprises, ranking third in the nation in terms of shipping volume. With 27 China-Europe freight trains connecting 12 European countries, Linyi has become one of Shandong's three major China-Europe freight train assembly centers.

"Our overseas commercial centers in South Korea and Malaysia are serving as a window to showcase Linyi's products to reach global markets," said Lin Tianyi, head of Lanhua Cross-border E-commerce Industrial Park.

Over 500 businesses offering 30,000 products have joined the newly launched "Linyi Trade City- China Market" e-commerce platform, which enables customers to shop globally without leaving their homes.

This year, Linyi will concentrate on "reducing costs and enhancing benefits" while reviewing all locally produced goods in the market to encourage merchants to move from sales to production. It is vigorously building an international trading and processing industrial park.

In 2024, Linyi saw the successful establishment of three markets as national 3A scenic spots, creating eight exemplary markets blending commerce, culture, and tourism, along with four boutique tourist routes.
