Bulgaria's Plovdiv Cultural Park is home to over 700 peonies from Heze, East China's Shandong province. These peonies are not only symbols of the 75th anniversary of China-Bulgaria diplomatic ties but also a bridge linking the cultures of the two countries.

At the commencement of the 2025 Heze Peony International Communication Forum and the Seminar on Yellow River Stories, Heze peonies helped to connect diverse cultures worldwide.
