As the only Chinese wine region invited to attend, Yantai made a remarkable presence at the 5th Barcelona Wine Week and International Wine Tourism Forum held recently.

During the event, the Yantai delegation explored wine tourism route planning in Spain, engaged in discussions with key Spanish wineries, and delved into international wine tourism cooperation with companies such as Spanish Youth International Travel Agency.

The delegation also met with international wine industry authorities including Jose Antonio Vidal, Chairman of the Global Wine Tourism Organization, sociologist Lluís Tolosa, and economics professor Pierre from the University of Puget Sound. They exchanged views on the new opportunities and challenges facing the development of wine tourism industry.

At the World Wine Tourism Case Sharing and Promotion event, Yantai representatives shared the stage with representatives from renowned wine regions such as Bordeaux, Georgia, and Porto.

During the presentation, the delegation detailed Yantai's rich and diverse wine culture-themed tourism offerings, including picturesque vineyards, historic wineries, and distinctive wine cultural activities. The delegation warmly welcomed friends from all countries to attend the 2025 Enotourism Summit in Yantai.

Barcelona Wine Week is a major annual event in the wine industry, attracting numerous wine producers, distributors, and enthusiasts from around the world each year. This year's exhibition brought together 1,266 wineries and attracted 25,700 professional attendees.
