The city of Zibo, Shandong recently held a unique cultural event in Gwangju, South Korea, aiming to strengthen cultural exchange and friendship between the two cities.

One of the highlights of the event was a traditional Chinese opera performance by the Zibo folk art delegation. The performance showcased the charm of traditional Chinese opera in all its glory.

Adorned in magnificent costumes, the performers presented the essence of Chinese traditional opera to the audience in Gwangju, South Korea, through their vivid presentation. The performance not only received enthusiastic applause from the audience but also sparked a strong interest in traditional Chinese culture.

In addition to the opera performance, Zibo also presented an exquisite exhibition of traditional handicrafts. The exhibition displayed Zibo's ceramics, embroidery, paper-cutting, and other handicrafts, attracting the interest of numerous Korean spectators with their exquisite craftsmanship and unique style.

The event also featured a Sino-South Korean Cultural Exchange Seminar. Cultural experts and scholars from Zibo and Gwangju gathered to engage in in-depth discussions and exchanges on the preservation, development, and innovation of the cultures of both countries. They shared experiences and achievements in cultural development and explored the future direction and possibilities of cultural cooperation. The seminar gave the two cities a deeper understanding of each other's cultures and established a long-term cultural cooperation mechanism.

It also showcased the charm of traditional Chinese culture and deepened Gwangju's understanding of Zibo. In the future, the two cities will continue to strengthen cultural exchanges and cooperation, jointly promoting the prosperity and development of both the Chinese and South Korean cultures.
