On March 1, the Weihai Football Association hosted a friendly football match between the Weihai women's football team and the women's football team from Gunsan, South Korea at a local football court in Weihai, Shandong province.

The 18-member delegation from Gunsan also had the chance to explore Weihai's picturesque landscapes and expressed admiration for the city's development into a beautiful and prosperous coastal destination.

The event not only promoted the development of football in both Weihai and Gunsan but also deepened collaboration between the two cities in various football-related industries.

In recent years, the Weihai Football Association has been actively promoting sports, social welfare, international exchanges, campus football training, and the popularization of football culture. Football has garnered widespread attention and support from the public.

Looking ahead, the Weihai Football Association aims to host more football events, study tours, and other activities related to football, boosting the integration of football events with port economy, tourism, and traditional culture. This multi-faceted approach is set to drive the in-depth integration of sports with commercial, cultural, and tourism industries, providing impetus for Weihai's economic development.
