A recent promotional event for Yellow River tourism in China in Los Angeles showcased cultural and tourist resources from five provinces through which the river flows: Shandong, Shanxi, Henan, Sichuan and Gansu.

More than 200 local dignitaries, government and business leaders, along with travel and tourism industry executives joined the event Friday at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures called "Nihao China".
