(chinadaily.com.cn) | 2026-04-22

In Haiqing town, Qingdao West Coast New Area, 35,000 mu (about 2,333 hectares) of tea plantations have transformed into a beautiful spring landscape.

Rolling terraced tea fields cover the hills, their fresh green leaves glowing under the warm sun. Among the tea bushes, cherry trees are in full bloom, adding pink highlights to the sea of green. The harmonious blend of "tea green and cherry red" creates an incredible view.

Tea farmers are picking the spring harvest, their hands moving swiftly among the tender leaves. With the gentle breeze carrying the fragrance of tea and blossoms, the entire area feels like living poetry. This unique mix of agriculture and natural beauty has become a hidden gem, attracting photographers and nature lovers. It's an ideal spring escape where tradition and scenery converge.
