Plum blossoms herald early spring in Qingdao
As temperatures rise after the Start of Spring, the first of China's 24 solar terms, blossoms in Zhongshan Park have begun to bloom, coloring the garden with gentle shades of pink and white.
Some buds are just starting, carrying the promise of spring, while others have fully opened, spreading a delicate fragrance along the paths. With sparse branches set against the urban backdrop, the scene reflects Qingdao's most serene and graceful side. A light breeze carries the subtle scent of plum flowers, inviting visitors to enjoy this early gift of the season.
It is important to note that the Start of Spring does not mean winter has fully ended. Temperatures in Qingdao will fluctuate in the coming days, so those planning outings are advised to dress warmly while enjoying the blossoms.
