Global pharma-tech fair opens in Qingdao with 1,600 firms
The (2025 Autumn) National Pharmaceutical Machinery Exposition and the 2025 (Autumn) China International Pharmaceutical Machinery Exposition began in Qingdao West Coast New Area (Qingdao WCNA) on Oct 16.
The event attracts 1,661 pharmaceutical equipment enterprises from 25 countries and regions, along with tens of thousands of professional visitors. With an exhibition area of 150,000 square meters and over 9,100 booths, the expo serves as a key window to global trends in pharmaceutical equipment.
Numerous internationally renowned brands and domestic industry leaders showcased cutting-edge technologies and intelligent solutions covering the entire drug production lifecycle, as well as applications in the food and cosmetics industries.
New product launches were a major highlight, with companies like Mettler Toledo, Austar, and Syntegon holding global premieres. Marchesini and Shanghai Sansheng introduced Asian launches, while IMA and Omori Holdings debuted products in China for the first time, drawing significant industry attention.
The expo provides a platform for domestic companies to expand internationally, while also providing a window for global technologies to enter the Chinese market. This two-way exchange is driving technological innovation and value chain upgrading in China's pharmaceutical industry.
