The 2025 China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS) took place in Beijing from Sept 10 to 14.

As a national pilot city for innovative service trade development, Qingdao set up an independent exhibition zone, featuring 37 enterprises and institutions, including Shandong Port Group, Windaka Technology, Extreme Vision, and Yisa Technology.

The Qingdao zone showed the city's strength in intelligent solutions and technical exports through an immersive digital intelligence journey, highlighting cutting-edge AI robots: companion robots for health and entertainment services, multifunctional cleaning robots, and AI-powered hospital registration robots.

In the virtual reality experience area, Winkong Marine's AI head-mounted computer allowed users to remotely monitor and control ships, while Shandong Port Group's Jiaolong marine technology and Teld New Energy's energy-efficient charging piles displayed integrated green and digital applications. Other highlights included detailed marine engineering models and underwater communication equipment, underscoring Qingdao's growing capabilities in high-end ocean tech and intelligent devices.

The China-SCO Science-Technology Innovation Cooperation Center also attracted attention with cultural products from Russia, Egypt, Nepal, Peru, and Afghanistan, reflecting Qingdao's role in bridging technological and cultural exchanges among SCO nations.

Through displays covering digital trade, green services, technical trade, and cultural exports, Qingdao demonstrated its innovative cluster achievements and potential in next-generation service trade, reinforcing its position as an expanding force in the global services market.
