In the vibrant summer of Qingdao, with azure seas and strong winds propelling sails, the launch ceremony of the 2025 Blue Dream Melody Summer Cruise Season was successfully held on July 30 at the Qingdao International Cruise Port.

The event aims to promote cruise culture and products, establishing cruise tourism as a new highlight of Qingdao's maritime tourism industry and injecting fresh vitality into the city's summer cultural and tourism market.

The Blue Dream Melody set sail from Shanghai on July 26, carrying over 1,500 tourists, and arrived in Qingdao on the morning of July 30. More than 95 percent of the passengers were from outside the province, with approximately 31 percent hailing from Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region. The Blue Dream Melody will continue its operations in Qingdao until the end of August, coinciding with the summer vacation period.
