The 7th ocean light and shadow carnival of Qingdao Mangrove Tree Resort World kicked off in Qingdao West Coast New Area on July 12.

This year's light and shadow festival has been upgraded with the theme "space-time epic · deep blue rhapsody", transforming the resort world's 6,000-sq-m town square into an immersive giant screen theater, presenting a breathtaking large-scale live-action epic that can be experienced in naked-eye 3D.

Meanwhile, the traditional annual "drone sky show" will continue to dazzle by the seaside. With over 20 light and shadow photo spots, visitors will feel like they've stepped into a dreamy art gallery. The music festival and sunset concert will rock every night. Additionally, over 100 Chinese and international delicacies and wines, as well as the beloved mangrove tree magic family parade, will be showcased. Magical NPCs appearing randomly throughout the day will also engage in impromptu performances with you at any moment.

This edition of the light and shadow festival will run until Aug 23, injecting strong vitality into Qingdao's summer tourism market alongside the upcoming 2025 Qingdao International Beer Festival and allowing even more people to experience Qingdao's unique coastal charm and summer atmosphere!
