The opening ceremony of the SCO Member States Arts Festival and Youth Music Festival, organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, took place in Qingdao on July 7.

With the gentle sea breeze and rippling blue waves as a backdrop, the magnificent light show of Fushan Bay provided a natural setting for the stage.

The event showcased 11 high-quality performances selected by SCO member states, featuring a range of performances such as pop songs, traditional dances, string music, and opera excerpts, each representing the unique cultural essence of their respective countries. Young artists infused their performances with sincere emotions and captivating talents, echoing the "Shanghai Spirit" amidst the mountains and sea.

The fusion of art, culture, and youth talent at the festival not only celebrates diversity but also promotes unity and mutual understanding among nations, creating a vibrant tapestry of shared experiences and harmonized cultures.

This festival will continue until the end of August, with artist groups from countries including China, Belarus, and Russia set to perform and engage in artistic exchanges in Qingdao.
