Qingdao extends invitation to world for 'Romantic Qingdao' experience

Twenty couples from South Korea, Shanghai, Jiangsu, and other places gathered in Qingdao, facing the sea to pledge their love and witness the launch of the "Romantic Qingdao" event on April 27.
"Romantic Qingdao" is meant to attract consumers and features a variety of opportunities to spend money, such as wedding and romance expos and romantic markets. The event aims to boost consumption in the romantic economy and comprehensively build a new city consumer IP around destination weddings.
In his address, Wang Bo, deputy mayor of Qingdao, stated that Qingdao has integrated high-quality industrial resources and tailored "romantic benefits" across six categories, including shopping, dining, accommodation, love, travel, and gifting, providing warm and attentive services to couples.
Wang invited lovebirds from around the world to Qingdao to join the "Romantic Qingdao" experience, where beautiful love stories can unfold romantically amidst Qingdao's mountains and seas.
At the event, the 20 couples were immersed in an interactive experience, expressing their love vows collectively through recitations. The innovative and romantic settings attracted many young attendees.
As a special guest, renowned actor Du Jiang delivered his blessings to the couples and promoted "Romantic Qingdao" to audiences worldwide, emphasizing Qingdao's status as a romantic city and inviting people from all corners of the globe to enjoy its romantic landscapes and happy vibes.
Following the group wedding ceremony, the couples experienced a sea wedding and visited iconic romantic spots such as Fushan Bay, creating unforgettable memories.
