The Qingdao Area of the China (Shandong) Pilot Free Trade Zone, or Qingdao FTZ, has recently achieved a milestone, establishing the first domestic Lorinser urban showroom. This development underscores the zone's success in promoting high-quality automotive trade and building an international consumer-oriented central city.

Lorinser, founded in Germany in 1930, is renowned for its high-end car customization and upgrading, earning it the nickname "Mercedes-Benz fashion designer". In 2022, the brand partnered with Cartech under the Haier Group, and in 2024, it launched a digital customization industrial park, marking its entry into the intelligent and digital era.
The Qingdao Comprehensive Bonded Zone Group's comprehensive service trade platform has focused on automotive industry investment attraction, new business form incubation, bonded R&D, and advanced manufacturing services. In 2024, it served over 800 import-oriented enterprises, with a vehicle transaction value of 2 billion yuan ($280 million).
Moving forward, the Qingdao FTZ will continue to optimize its business environment and service capabilities, fully tap the potential of the automotive consumer market, and promote the upgrade of industry and consumption.
