Governor Andrey Travnikov of Russia's Novosibirsk Oblast led a delegation to the Qingdao Area of the China (Shandong) Pilot Free Trade Zone, or Qingdao FTZ, on July 17, touring the 2.01 million-square-meter Qingdao West Coast Comprehensive Bonded Zone and its resident enterprises.

Travnikov praised the zone's duty-free import, bonded processing and tax-refund policies, noting their appeal to Russian companies. At Qingdao Bozun Group, officials discussed expanding agricultural trade and joint R&D.
Built inside the Qingdao FTZ, the bonded zone focuses on advanced manufacturing, international trade, and fast-growing cross-border e-commerce, positioning it as a gateway for Russian firms entering the Chinese market.
