The China-Japan multimodal transport and dual-warehouse linkage, along with the Anersu intelligent warehousing project, had their official launch on April 15 in the Qingdao Area of the China (Shandong) Pilot Free Trade Zone, known as Qingdao FTZ.
During the event, a batch of consolidated and mixed cargo was shipped from the Anersu intelligent warehousing project to the Anersu warehouse in Japan. This marked the beginning of operations for the first China-Japan dual-warehouse linkage project in northern China.
As China-Japan trade continues to grow, the demand for efficient and stable cross-border logistics among small and medium-sized enterprises is increasing. Traditional cross-border logistics methods often face challenges such as long lead times, high costs, and lack of transparency.
To address these issues, Yudu Supply Chain (Shandong) Co Ltd collaborated with the Jinan Railway Logistics Center to create the China-Japan Multimodal Transport and Dual-Warehouse Linkage model, implemented in the Qingdao FTZ through the Anersu intelligent warehousing project.
This new transport model allows small quantities of goods from enterprises to be stored in the Anersu intelligent warehousing project, consolidated, and packed through the consolidated cargo system. These goods then reach the Anersu warehouse in Japan within seven days. This model reduces the original two to three-week shipping cycle to five to seven days, resulting in a 20 percent to 30 percent reduction in inventory costs for enterprises.
