Yantai in East China's Shandong province held an event named "Perceiving Yantai Reading Club" in Buyeo-gun, South Korea, on Nov 30, which announced a new Nishan House. This marks the fourth cultural exchange activity between Yantai and Buyeo-gun this year.

Gong Haitao, director of the Information Office of Yantai Municipal People's Government, introduced the various exchanges and cooperation between Yantai and Buyeo-gun in his video speech.

He mentioned that this year is the 5th anniversary of the friendly cooperation relationship between Yantai and Buyeo-gun. Through this event, Yantai showed its urban charm, which will better promote exchanges between the two.

Kim Mi-ro, president of the South Korea International Talent Development and Exchange Association, and Park Heung-mo, president of the South Korea-China Economic Exchange Association, attended the event and gave speeches.

They emphasized that the event not only facilitates mutual understanding and friendship between the two nations but also propels Sino-South Korean relations forward with renewed vigor. The ties between Yantai and Buyeo-gun are expected to only deepen with time.
