A new train schedule was introduced from midnight on Jan 10, which directly connects Jinan to Kunming, as well as cities along the road.

This schedule adjustment leverages the Jinan-Zhengzhou high-speed rail to boost transportation efficiency in central and western directions. The high-speed train frequency on the Jinan-Zhengzhou route is now 31 pairs per day, including 23 inter-provincial and 8 intra-provincial pairs, resulting in substantially reduced travel times between cities in the Shandong province.

The inaugural high-speed train service from Jinan West Station to Kunming South Station achieves a direct high-speed connection covering the entire journey in just 13 hours and 20 minutes. Furthermore, the introduction of high-speed trains from Yantai to Guiyang has significantly shortened travel times, making journeys more comfortable.

Expanded services include new connected routes from Jinan to Chongqing, Rongcheng to Chengdu, and Jinan to Nanning, further compressing spatial and temporal distances between Shandong and regions and cities like Chengdu, Chongqing, and Nanning.

In a bid to enhance regional connectivity, Liaocheng now offers high-speed trains to Beijing, Shanghai, and Qinhuangdao, filling the gap for direct high-speed services from Liaocheng to major cities.

Additionally, the Laixi-Rongcheng High-Speed Railway has been introduced with 7 pairs of passenger trains, including both inter-provincial and intra-provincial routes, providing more convenient travel options for passengers.

Travelers are encouraged to stay updated on train schedules and service information through various channels, ensuring a seamless and efficient travel experience.
