The Shanghe General Aviation Airport in Shanghe county, Jinan was put into operation on Jan 7, as the airport received the A1-class general airport license issued by the CAAC East China Regional Administration.

The Shanghe General Aviation Airport in Yuhuangmiao town, Shanghe county was invested and constructed by Jinan Rail Transit Group and the Shanghe county government.

With an investment of 578 million yuan ($81.68 million), it is the first A1-level general aviation airport in Jinan.

The airport provides services integrating takeoff and landings, transportation, general aviation consumption and industrial, agricultural and forestry production operations.
