With the global spread of novel coronavirus pneumonia, the Jinan municipal overseas Chinese federation launched the "12345 service hotline" to provide overseas Chinese with epidemic prevention and control consultation services.

The 12345 hotline offers services in six languages 24 hours a day year-round. Overseas Chinese can call +86-531-12345, send a text to +86-106-3531-12345, or send an e-mail to the mayor via the Jinan municipal government official website, to receive real-time help.

Jinan, capital of Shandong province, is the hometown of more than 200,000 overseas residents who have made great contributions to the city's economic and social development.

Since the outbreak, most overseas Chinese have helped China with medical and financial support.

The 12345 service hotline, founded in 2014, has played a key role in promoting public service and offering help to overseas Chinese. The hotline will build a bridge between Chinese people living overseas and those living in Jinan amid the outbreak.
