The 35th Qingdao International Beer Festival has become a mix of cultures, with special flights bringing many South Korean visitors to the beaches of the Qingdao West Coast New Area (Qingdao WCNA).

From July 18 to Aug 16, Qingdao's culture and tourism teams are welcoming South Korean travelers with the "Cheers to Qingdao" campaign.

As a main entry point for South Korean tourists, Qingdao makes travel easier between the two countries. There are about 38 flights between Qingdao and Korea every day, from 7 am to 10 pm.

In the Golden Beach Beer City in the Qingdao WCNA, the "Hana Tour" South Korean Pavilion offers unique experiences: from soju beer cocktails to K-pop dance contests under neon hanji lanterns.

"We came just for the real Tsingtao Beer," a honeymooning South Korean couple said, "and it's the best part of our marital journey!"

The city has great deals — cheaper air-hotel packages, special beer steins, and even kimchi-flavored brew — all promoted in Seoul with beer tastings and influencer meetups.

This plan shows Qingdao's push to boost tourism, with South Korean visitors leading the way.

Next, the city will launch campaigns for Japanese, German, and SCO-nation travelers, mixing its old beer history with new hospitality. As flights increase and visa rules relax, Qingdao is creating the perfect blend of hops and worldwide friendship — one stein at a time.
