The Qingdao International Friendship Cities Exchange Month is scheduled to take place in Qingdao from July 18 to mid-August. This event aims to explore new paths in development with global partner cities, focusing on promoting industry, culture, tourism, and consumption.

Aligned with the Qingdao International Beer Festival, a diverse and dynamic program featuring various activities has been meticulously planned. Beyond the opening ceremony, the event will host 15 activities across seven sections, facilitating dialogues among city mayors, businesses, and citizens.

Representatives from 25 cities or institutions across 18 countries will be invited to Qingdao during the exchange month. The goal is to build a comprehensive network for external exchanges, fostering shared cultural tourism, integrated industries, and mutual understanding among partner cities in broader and deeper dimensions.

Qingdao will host a series of vibrant activities during the friendship cities month to create platforms for deeper global connections. Activities such as "city participation in the beer festival", international performances, media interviews with city mayors, and the launch of the International Friendship Forest will take place.

Traditional heritage exhibitions, cultural experiences, ballet exchanges, youth summer camps, and more will promote multicultural exchange and understanding. These events will foster people-to-people bonds, laying a solid foundation for higher-level openness.

To date, Qingdao has established sister-city relationships with 94 cities across 53 countries.
