Jining's Jinxiang, known as the "garlic capital of the world", hosted the 12th China Garlic conference on Aug 6, attracting nearly 400 representatives from China, Indonesia, Malaysia, the UAE, Brazil, Pakistan, Thailand, Canada, and other countries.

During the event, participants learned about the construction, operation, and planning at the Kaisheng digital product exhibition center. They also explored the digital agriculture display hall, electronic settlement financial service center, monitoring and dispatch center, and other facilities to gain a comprehensive understanding of Jinxiang's garlic production, processing, and trade.

"Jinxiang garlic is very popular in Brazil. The large-scale and standardized cultivation here is truly impressive!" said Pedro Toledo Bandone from Brazil.

The event, launched in 2011, allows global buyers to taste high-quality garlic and discuss business opportunities. International guests can also experience the area's unique "garlic culture" through activities like garlic-weaving crafts, garlic-flavored food, and garlic-themed contests.
