Anne Lafortune, ambassador of Seychelles to China, stressed the significance of holding the Nishan Forum on World Civilizations during an interview on July 10. 

"It is a platform that is given to countries in order to be able to understand the traditional culture of China and also how it is moving into modernization", she said.

The forum, held from July 10 to 11 in Qufu, Shandong province, the birthplace of Confucius, attracted nearly 400 international guests from 63 countries, who shared their views on traditional cultures and modern civilizations.
