Shandong-made calligraphy robot wows visitors in Beijing
A captivating live calligraphy performance, executed by a collaborative robot arm from Shandong, stole the spotlight at an exhibition held in Beijing from Oct 10 to 12.
This exhibition was a part of the "Friendly Shandong, Remarkable Shandong" promotional event, organized by the Shandong Provincial People's Government. It featured a showcase of Shandong's renowned brands, high-tech products, specialties, handicrafts, and picturesque landscapes.
In the manufacturing exhibition area, a diverse array of Shandong brands, such as CIMC Raffles, Sinotruk, Hisense, and Inspur, highlighted the province's achievements in the manufacturing sector.
The collaborative robot arm was developed by Rokae, a Jining company specializing in intelligent cooperative robots. Equipped with a high-precision sensor, it can accurately replicate the force and trajectory of human handwriting.
