A Chionanthus tree is in full bloom with delicate, white and fragrant flowers at the Family Mansion of Mencius, an ancient Chinese philosopher, in Jining’s Zoucheng. The tree, commonly known as a fringe tree, has been standing at the sage's family mansion for more than 300 years, according to local historical records.
