The Jiagudui Peasant Village and Nanyang Ancient Town in Jining were listed among the 18 areas to be upgraded as national 4A-level tourist attractions, which was released by the culture and tourism department of Shandong province on Dec 13.

The Jiagudui Peasant Village features ancient village folk culture, Grand Canal culture and Longshan Culture, which is a late Neolithic civilization in the middle and lower reaches of the Yellow River in Dalukou town in Liangshan county.

It offers authentic rural delicacies and unique experiences of rural life.
